if you enjoy music because it makes you happy, HOLLERTOWN is a band you will enjoy.  no discernible angst, no sturm and drang, no sacre bleu or any other foreign words for woe is me....just strummy, plucky happy American roots music.
 
so enjoy leap day and come see HOLLERTOWN at Nanny O'Brien's TONIGHT!  for those of you who missed them last time, they're a string band that plays a mixture of bluegrass, old-time, and alt-country music (with the occasional Cure or Madonna cover thrown in for good measure).  and they PACKED the place last month with happy smiley people who were all very nice (well, that one barfly was a little rude when he smacked mister deej on the ass!  fresh!)

HOLLERTOWN will be at Nanny's this Friday night, staring at 8:30p. bring your friends (or make new friends there)!  

Nanny O'Brien's is at 3319 Connecticut Ave NW in Cleveland Park, across from the Uptown theater.
