hello there, deej people.  well, we just have to say that the most recent KARL STRAUB CRONYISM TouRESIDENCY show featuring Eugene Chadbourne and Jimmy Carl Black was a real treat!  mister deej has found himself recently trolling the record stores for old Zappa, having had Jimmy Carl renew my interest in all that old stuff.  living legend....
 
THURSDAY, come back to the QUARRY HOUSE for some local legends, THE GRANDSONS!  local legends, you scoff?  yeah!  name another DC-area band that has as exciting a repertoire, is as consistently good and just happens to be playing at Silver Spring's the QUARRY HOUSE this THURSDAY.  go ahead, name ONE....!  i'll bet you said THE GRANDSONS, right!?  thought so.....
