we are pleased to introduce to the deej and quarry house the new band from SCOTT McKNIGHT.

JELLY ROLL MORTALS are Arch Alcantara (Lianna, Wes Tucker & the Skillets) and Naughty Pine and Last Train Home alumni Scott McKnight and Bill Williams, with Kentucky Jim Faris (Charlie Chesterman's Legendary Motorbikes) slapping an orange sparkle upright bass and Steve Woehrle (Naughty Pine, Neighbors) slapping his rootbeer sparkle Gretsch drums.  JELLY ROLL MORTALS play a mixture of originals and covers, kind of like Naughty Pine did, but with new people and new tunes.  Come out and see the band and buy Bill's new solo CD Handful.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: the deej is verrry close to selecting a series of 5 dates with the inimitable KARL STRAUB!  the KARL STRAUB residency at the deej (house) will start this summer and continue through the fall.  it will feature karl and his band, as well as special guests.  we're very excited and will let you know the dates as soon as we get them nailed down.  as a special offer we will be pre-selling guaranteed seats in a limited number on a first-come first-served basis (for one show or for the whole series).....cool!
