HAPPY NEW YEAR from the deej. let's have some
music this year!

deej at DOMKU (821 upshur street nw)
wednesday 1-17 -- THE OSCILLATORS
music at 830p, $5 doornation

the deej returns to DOMKU with an encore
appearance from the OSCILLATORS. we missed their
show in dec, but heard the place was packed.
their style of upbeat jazz is perfect for domku
--easy to listen to yet mellow enough to also
talk with your friends....

TONIGHT -- KID GOAT at the RED and the BLACK

here's a note from the chief goat:
"Happy New Year, Kid Goat Faithful. Did you
forget to have the holiday spirit again in 2006? 
well, we’re here to tell you it is not too late. 
Did you resolve again in 2007 to see more Kid
Goat (it’s easier than losing weight)?  Well,
we’re here to help you with that too with two
shows this month.

This Friday, January 12, we will head back to the
Red and the Black in the cool, new Atlas District
(1212 H street NE)**. Kid Goat will be the second
band, but come early and stay late for The Garnet
Hearts from Baltimore and The Spoils of
Northwest, each earning the Kid Goat seal of
approval.

And dust off that charitable holiday spirit on
Saturday, January 20 at Chief Ike’s Mambo Room in
Adams Morgan for the Kid Goat Children’s Hospital
Benefit. This show is not only for a great cause,
it is very close to KG World Headquarters, so it
promises to be a fun show.  Remember to bring a
new (in its package) toy for free admission
(otherwise it $5).

After that we are taking February off to record
and take the bar (well, one of us), so take
advantage of the next two shows (and start saving
your pennies for that Kid Goat CD)."
