good friends and exceptional musicians, NELS
ANDREWS and AJ ROACH will be stop by DOMKU as
they tour the south and east coast. in a musical
twofer treat, each songwriter will play a full
set of music. they may even sit in with one
another on some songs. they could also play a
song swap show. it could be pandamonium!

AJ ROACH was the 2004 winner of the Chris Austin
songwriting contest at Merlefest.  NELS ANDREWS 
won the 2006 Telluride Troubadour competition
last month, and he was a Kerrville Folk Festival
New Folk winner in 2002. last week he was a
finalist in the Emerging Songwriters Showcase at
Falcon Ridge. Nels will also perform as a
finalist at The Mountain Stage NewSong Festival
the end of this month.

SPOTTISWOODE and McMAHON -- the dynamic front duo
of SPOTTISWOODE and HIS ENEMIES will perform two
sets of their twisted parlour music at the deej!
we're not kidding -- jonathan is twisted and
riley is completely bent. this is not to say they
suck. quite the opposite....an original show to
be sure. and look for members of THE ENEMIES
lurking in the audience to burst upon the stage
to make their own unique and possibly disturbing
contributions to the show. especially deej sound
man and local bass legend JOHN YOUNG, playing his
last local show before moving to new haven CT.
