this is incredible. our good friends MATT the
ELECTRICIAN and SEELA will appear at DOMKU
tomorrow, wed. sept. 20 @8:30p. those of you who
have had the opportunity to enjoy their shows at
THE DEEJ and at other local venues can attest to
the fact that this will be a great show. not to
be missed!  

MATT's songwriting is humorous and ernest. his
delivery is as comfortable as your dad's old
flannel shirt. with SEELA's backing vocals,
matt's songs gain a depth that fills a room and a
sweetness that saturates. 

both of these talented artists have CD offerings
of the highest quality, so come prepared to buy!
MATT and SEELA cds have been in high rotation in
the deej household ever since we first met them
here a few years back. we have a ton of music in
this house, but MATT and SEELA's song have
floated to the top. the very top.

SPOTTISWOODE and McMAHON!  the dynamic duo of the
seminal DC-then-NYC-based band SPOTTISWOODE and
HIS ENEMIES will appear at the deej (HOUSE) the
day after their big show at IOTA. in town for a
layover, we just couldn't resist a chance for S&M
to return to the deej. with special
guests...including the soon-to-be-dearly-departed
JOHN YOUNG!  what a hyphen-heavy show this will
be!
